In writing I have used a poem by James K. Baxter as a starting point to write my own holiday poem. I hope you like it.

Eadie’s James K baxter poem
Kaiteriteri was usual enough;
It had a wonderful beach, Ice cream shop,
Cafe with tame eels,
and even delicious bbqs.
My Mum, Dad, brother and I did what
you do on holiday-
Swimming in the huge waves,
Swimming in the huge waves,
walking on the track, resting lazily,
eating lots of treats, and even watching movies.
You've been at my favourite place also, Eadie! What do you love about walking on the tracks? What is your favourite beach at Kaiteriteri?
