The Art Gallery and Museum
Yesterday the 13th of June we went to the Art Gallery and Museum. First we went to the
Art Gallery we saw lots of maori weavings and a room of symmetrical paintings.

I loved it. Then we did some art in the art room. There’s an art room in the Art Gallery!
Amazing Isn’t it. My favourite part was the art we did was to do with Maori as well we made
Waka huia to put the special Maori feathers that you were in your hair in. I accidentally did my
best design on the bottom. We used water paint colour them. I haven’t finished mine though.
We had lunch in the art room then we went to the museum. At the museum We learnt about
solar panel cars and that the sun is a tiny star. There was a giant dome thing that showed you
what sound the sun makes. My favourite part was the goggles that made you see thing it was
actually pretty scary.
